My name is Christophe Zech. I started Ophthalmology in 1986 in Lyon, France. I was a Resident then Fellow in Lyon and I quickly turned to the medical and surgical retina. In parallel, I obtained a master’s degree in immunology in Paris in the Inserm research Laboratory of the Hôtel-Dieu. I continued the research in this same laboratory and worked on the inter-cellular junctions of the retinal pigment epithelium. I was Medical Doctor in 1992 and Physician Doctor in 2000. Currently, I work in private pratice in a very large Ophthalmology center in Lyon where we are 19 practitioners of different specialties in ophthalmology. I also manage and organize this center. |
